My Approach
I use an integrated approach to therapy designed to meet people where they are and help clarify where they would like to go. Building a strong relationship is key to making progress in therapy. I strive to acknowledge the best in each of us as well as explore entrenched patterns and coping strategies that may be contributing to distress in the present.
Depending on what we agree might be helpful for you, we may work to develop self-care, increase self-acceptance, navigate environmental stressors such as unexpected events, social expectations and biases, explore existential concerns, understand the impact of family and relationship dynamics, reevaluate core beliefs. If we work together for some time, most of these are likely to come up.
